Megan Elliot

Megan started dancing at just three years old and has been in love with dance ever since! Over the years, she has trained in tap, ballet, jazz, lyrical, contemporary, and hip-hop, and has had the opportunity to perform at events and venues throughout Arizona, including the Maricopa County Fair, the Herberger Theater Center, and Glendale Glitters. Contemporary is her favorite style, as she loves the creativity, emotion, and individuality that comes with it.

Megan has been teaching dance since 2017 and has had the opportunity to work with dancers of many different ages and experience levels. She loves creating a classroom where students feel comfortable being themselves, try new things, and grow in confidence. For Megan, some of the most rewarding moments of teaching are watching a dancer accomplish something they once thought they couldn't do and seeing their excitement grow as they discover a love for dance. She believes dance should challenge students to work hard while still being a place where they can have fun, build friendships, and feel proud of who they are. She continues to take classes from instructors across the valley at Cloud Dance Collective, always looking for opportunities to learn and grow as both a dancer and teacher.

Megan holds a degree in education and currently works as a teacher, nanny, and tutor. Her experience working with children in a variety of settings has deepened her passion for creating positive, encouraging learning environments where every student feels supported. 

When she isn't working, Megan enjoys working out, getting lost in a good book, and spending time with her husband. She is so excited to be part of the studio community and looks forward to sharing her love of dance with her students!
