2026 NUTCRACKER INFORMATION
Nutcracker Casting 2026
Parent Nutcracker Meeting August 21st 4:00 Studio 2 (30 minutes)
**Please be sure to sign your 2026 Nutcracker Agreement 2026 located in the parent portal under waivers. It is an electronic signature this season. It must be signed no later than Monday, August 24th, 2026.
The Nutcracker participation fee is $200 per dancer. This fee includes all dancer rehearsals and choreography as well as dancer costume rental for the show and is due August 21st. All costumes are turned back into DDW after the show. The show IS being professionally filmed this season and a $30 media fee is due on August 21st. There will only be video for this performance. Both the particpation fee and media fee will be automatically charged to the card on file on Friday 8/21 unless otherwise paid before.
All dancers are cast in both performances. Some roles are double cast.
Performances will take place at Cactus Shadows at 11:00am and 2:00pm on November 21st, with a mandatory dress rehearsal on November 20th at DDW 4:00PM-7:00PM
Saturday Rehearsals are 9/26, 10/3, 10/17, 11/7, 11/14 1:30PM-4:30PM

Please read through the entire cast list, as some dancers may be cast in multiple rolls. It is not uncommon for dancers to be cast in the same role for multiple years!
*Choreography is adjusted annually to suit the dancers’ needs.
Rehearsals will start Friday, August 28th We may add or change rehearsals as the performance approaches, so that we can make sure dancers are ready! We try our best not to do that, however sometimes the change occurs. **
