2024 NUTCRACKER INFORMATION

Audition Form

Please turn your audition form into the front desk or email it to ballet@DiamondDanceWorks.com prior to the audition date. The audition fee is $25 per dancer. Dancers enrolled in the Diamond Conservatory of Ballet have no audition fee. Dancers enrolled in the Diamond Conservatory of Ballet must attend the audition for final casting.

The Nutcracker participation fee is $175 per dancer, or $125 per dancer for those enrolled in the Diamond Conservatory of Ballet. This fee includes all dancer rehearsals and choreography as well as dancer costume rental for the show and is due September 6th All costumes are turned back into DDW after the show. There is an additional required media fee of $40 per dancer, or $50 per family if there are multiple siblings from the same family performing. The media fee is due by September 6th, and will be automatically charged to the card on file with the particpation fee.

We will be having TWO performances on December 7th (tentative date). Dancers should not audition unless they are capable of performing in BOTH shows, as it will be a long day. All dancers cast will be cast in both performances. Lead roles, as well other roles as needed, may be double cast (meaning a different dancer per role is cast for each show).

Performances will take place at Cactus Shadows Fine Arts Center at 12:30pm and 3:30pm, with a mandatory dress rehearsal on December 6th at DDW.
